My 2001 coupe
Re: My 2001 coupe
Well, I would buy lowering springs before anything else. Anything that offers approximately 1.5". Depending on the mileage on your struts, you could pull it off with OEM for a while, but you can anticipate replacing them shortly after. Search the site and check out the other set-ups that people are using, and get familiar with the different options out there. That's the best way to learn.
Re: My 2001 coupe
Well I put monroe struts on last year so hopefully that will hold up to the lowering springs.....that was actually my next mod....because I think the lowered 7th gens are awesome
Re: My 2001 coupe
Well, Monroe isn't the best choice but at least they're gas-charged (if they're SensaTracs, that is). And they probably come with a decent warranty. Throw some Eibach or Tein springs on, they seem to be the popular choice nowadays. Should run you anywhere from $400-$600 with installation. You'll need to buy rear camber correction kits too (one for each side, check E-bay), and then go for a 4 wheel alignment. Good luck.
