intake and strut bar?

I currently have a DC upper strut bar on my 01 coupe ex. I was wondering if the strut bar will be in the way of this intake? I am going to replace this intake filter with a K & N or AEM if I get it.

Re: intake and strut bar?

welp.

knowing how our throttle body housing sits...and looking at the pic they have there...i would assume that our HOODS would be in the way...

IF that intake pictured is the one you get, then it appears that it will stick up, out of the hood, and out to the passenger's side...

that's the problem with ebay companies...they don't show pics of the actual item for each car...

so i would assume that the one shown there is not the same design as the one you will get.

i would say buy my aem v2 because its cheaper than retail and works way better than a generic ebay one.

Re: intake and strut bar?

Ur strut bar will fit fine w/ an injen or aem intake but with that ebay **** there are no guarantees, especially if your not sure what it looks like first. I wouldent even waste my money on a sri they dont do anything on civics but let other drivers know your trying to go fast but cant.

Re: intake and strut bar?

Both DC and Neuspeed strut bar should work with any intake.

Yep.

I didn't relocate it, and my DC strut bar is sitting on it right now. I can't do much about it now since it's snowing, but when spring comes, I'm gonna relocate it, just don't know where.
