help with headers

if i get long tube headers will they be long enough to reach my catback, will i have to get shorty and hook it up to the downpipe, what im trying to say is does a long tube header reach the cat

chances are it does, if it was made for your car. a shorty only replaces the top portion and you use the stock downpipe. race header replaces everything, cat too.

so basicly if i get race headers i have to get rid of the cat or will i have to get an exhaust system
