Long time reader, first time poster...
I finally want to share some pictures.
It's my first car and I'm the second owner. I've had the car for about a year now. The main reason that I got it is that I wanted to learn to drive a manual transmission and it has a one.
From my profile
The previous owner did everything except for the tint and interior/trunk lights.

What do you guys think? What future mods should I consider to compliment my car? Thanks for looking.

Re: My Civic
clear out the the headlights, dont smoke them.
get light smoke tint for your tail lights so theyre still visibly red, but not so much that it takes away from the 'blackout' look.
get the rsr catback system.

Re: My Civic
Also, what does "shaved" mean?
What is the "rsr catback system"? What does a catback system do?
I guess I'll just live with it.Thanks guys. Your suggestions are great. I'll probably do something with the headlights and taillights and then lower it.
Re: My Civic
1. to lower your car you have a couple options.
A) you can go with lowering springs, which go in place of your stock ones...but once theyre in, theyre in. that means your car will permanently sit where the lowering springs have it sitting, which is usually a 1.5 inch drop or somewhere in that area. advantage: cheap. disadvantage: your car wont raise or lower again unless you change the springs.
B) you can get an adjustable coilover system which replaces the whole suspension system pretty much. your new system will have the shocks with the springs already around them and you change the unit as a whole. youd also need a camber kit so your tires stay sitting like |--| instead of /--\. advantage: you can raise/lower your car anytime you like for winter or summer or whatever. disadvantage: expensive system.
shaved means removing your symbols like your civic and your ex emblems. you already have them removed so you have a 'shaved' look. next youd need to get rid of your honda emblem on the back, fill in the two holes, and match the paint so you dont get two ugly holes there. it just makes for a cleaner look on your car.

for your headlights, whatever you do, do not smoke the outside of them or put any type of tint or anything. our cars naturally have **** for light emission and this would just make it worse. you wont be able to see **** at night.
as for clearing or blacking out the insides, you should do it yourself. keep your honda oem lights and do it on them. theyre built 10x better than any of the aftermarket ones you will find. on your particular car, since its blacked out pretty much, i would do the diy blacking out your headlights. remove the amber signal light piece inside and black it all out, it will look sharp. the amber piece sticks out on your car like a sore thumb. i removed it on mine and went with clear instead of black because my cars silver. it looks so much nicer.
for your tail lights, you can either buy the tint spray or you can get a 30$ ebay tint film kit which is usually lazer cut to fit your specific tail light. just make sure you dont go too dark with the spray, or that you order the 'light smoke' for your tail light film if you do that instead. you can still see the red through it pretty good, it just darkens it a little. if you go too black its trouble with cops.
and last, a catback system is an exhaust system that replaces pretty much everything on your car starting from the catalytic converter and back. hence the name 'catback'. it replaces all your piping and your muffler. an rsr catback is just a specific brand of catback thats probably closest to the stock on you have out of most of the catbacks we all use.
you need to search the forums more before asking some of these questions and making us type novels

unTuned, you're just so helpful. I have to keep asking you questions. It's way better than searching.
You answered everything and explained it well. Thanks.

Hey you need to get something to hold up the shift boot, for example - http://www.strutking.com/rsx/shift-b...r/prod_22.html - that will do the job.
