Need help!!!

I have an 2001 civic ex coupe. LOng story short I just got the car back today after a new head and head casket were replaced. I also had a chain link (I believe thats what its called) replaced because it was making a noise everytime i would turn. Anyway I dropped off my brother at a friends house and made a u turn when i heard a pop like sound. I am not sure if the sound came from my car or if the sound came from a neighbor's house. Can any of you tell me if it was my car that made that sound if it would have anything to do with the head casket or with the chain link i had replaced? thanks

Re: Need help!!!

ok, unless u are burying ur head, its not a casket, its a gasket, and second, there are no chain links to replace. and no a popping has nothing to do with that stuff, its a suspension/steering component

lol, my bad. Ok thanks for the infomation. And yea i looked at the receipt and its a link that was replaced not a chain link. Anyone have any idea in what the pop sound it made could be? I did buy the car lowered and I believe it has skunk 2 lowering springs. This might sound stupid but i have been thinking about putting it back to stock height but my friends tell me i shouldn't. What would you guys recommend? I just hate the fact that i really cant more that 3 people in my car without having it slam to the ground.

Re: Need help!!!

I figured out what the noise was. It was the heat shield all along. It turned out that one of the bolts broke so they only put it back on with 2 bolts. So one mystery actually solved!!
