D17A Questions

I am the owner of a LX Sedan civic D17A
I am interested in doing some cooling upgrades but I dont know where to start.

Where is the oil cooler on this motor?
Is it cooled by air flow or by a coolant system running through it?
If i got a bigger oil cooler would their be enough oil pressure to fill it.

Re: D17A Questions

Get a 2-row aluminum radiator (Koyo or a $180 Ebay knockoff) if you're that worried about it. But unless you live in a desert, the stock cooling system is more than fine.

Yes, if you add an oil cooler, the stock pump is more than fine to run it. But there's no point to this unless you are boosted.
