Getting a Carputer For Christmas, Need Help
Hey everyone, first post! Happy with the site, from here I learned how to replace the rear speakers, so thanks all.
So, I am getting a carputer for christmas and I already have a 7" Lilput touchscreen sitting at home. I am looking for suggestions, tips, feedback from people who have a system like this in their car. What I am wanting to get out of this is a fully enabled GPS system, I want to hook up a ODBII connector so I get live feedback from my car computer, and the goodies of course, weather, music, video/DVD, and solitare is a must...j/k. So if anyone has any feeback about paticular software or hardware componets you've used, it would be much appreciated!!
P.S. And on a side note, I am looking for anyone who knows how to mold a replace dash or how to modify the existing DIN to hold the 7" liliput screen.
