Re: chEcK mY 05 CiviC!!
You look worried your 70 pound hood is going to mysteriously break free of its latch and slam into your windshield as you creep over 100. So worried you decided to drill holes into it?

noup, my check engine doesn't turn on with that air filter, and that hood pins i put them because my hood moved a lot and make rare noises, and that is because my car is salvage...so thats the reason why i put the hood pins. So if you dont like my car F*** you!!...

Easy there, Ivan Drago. You won't get 100% positive comments on your ride, no one ever does.

Wheels look kinda dwarfed on your lowered car (not too bad though). The hood pins need to go. If your hood wobbles I am sure there is a better alternative, i.e. fixing the actual problem. Your car would look so much better if you paint the rear view mirrors, door handles, and body paneling, satin silver..... Unless you like that base model look with the black mirrors and handles. B- overall... But could easily be an A+ with about $2,000 in mods... new 17" wheels ($700-1,000), paint ($50-100), tires (400), new hood ($200 at junk yard). I suggest getting a regular cold air intake or warm air intake($10-200).. I think you are probably losing power with that set-up. Those fog lights scream " I was puchased in the Wal Mart's Auto section." If you must have fog lights, an OEM replica or a genuine OEM fog light set can be pruchased for less than $50 in some cases on ebay and would look so much better IMO.
And finally... The relocated front plate is enough to drive me mad. The relocation of the plate actually draws the eye to the plate because it's in an awkward position. GM tried doing this back in he 1980s and 1990s.
Cheers

Re: chEcK mY 05 CiviC!!
I like it other than the hood pins and the strange intake setup, and yeah dump the fogs...
good call w/ the sedan grill, I would paint the bottom part ssm tho, here's how it looks w/ my car

hmm nice car ...Apart from your mods, One of the cleanest Rebuilts I have ever seen though ...
Do this ...
1) If u like keeping those fog lights try hiding them behind a Black Mesh Grill ... That way no one would be able to see em clearly that they are there plus u can use em whenever u want. I'd still take em off though but its arite ...
2) It really doesnt make sense how the heck those hood pins reduce noise? Have u tried adjusting the rubber bushings under the hood or on the bay where the hood sits??? Most probably there not there or they are broken coz of the impact of the accident.
3) AEM V2 $240 (Ebay) OR AUTOZONE retun those FOgs -$40.00 by a universal intake +$40.00
4) Paint em sides ... or get CF side mirrors from ebay $45.00
5) Rims are ok ... If your a performance freak stick to those SI rims ... going on to 17's will make u loose a bit of power, ride comfort and noise!
In the end, Its your car keep it the way you like it. But when u ask for peoples comments, Face the positives and the negative ones equally. Coz comments can be both ;-)

relax. take the black further, with wheels, etc, or paint your mirrors, door handles, etc. lose the mudflaps, fogs and hood pins. there is a better way to make your hood safer and quieter. actually fix whatever is causing it to rattle.
