Hey I just registered on this site because I have a question that im afraid only a community with advanced civic knowledge would be able to answer. I currently drive a 2004 lx automatic with 97k on it. It runs perfectly but after i saw the new 2012 models at my local dealer i made my decision that i want a white 4dr lx 5spd. Now the only problem is that because of the earthquake in japan it is hard for the dealers to get their civics and nobody within a 5 state radius of me had a single manual transmission civic. The only way to get one is to buy one and wait for it to arrive. Im ready to buy the car but I feel that it is a hasty decision to buy the manual without driving it so im wondering if there is a big difference in driving between a 2011 manual and a 1012 manual. That way i can test drive a 2011 and make my decision based on that.
