Unhappy Spill in beverage holder...please help!

I just bought my 2009 Honda Civic LX Sedan in January 2009. This past weekend, I placed a large 42 oz. cup of horchata in the beverage holder. After I picked up the cup for a sip a third time, it was completely empty. It was at least 3/4 full before I picked it up. Somehow the bottom of the cup got punctured and all the horchata seeped out. Since the cup was pushing back against the 4 stabilizers in the beverage holder, it allowed all of horchata to drain into the small openings. I ran my hand along the surrounding carpeted area but there were no wet spots so I figured the liquid is just sitting somewhere in the center console. It would cost $90+ to have the dealership take care of the problem but I'd rather do it myself. Does anyone know how to remove the center console where the beverage holders sit? My car is starting to smell like sour milk. Please help!

Take out the front seats and you should be able to see all the screws and/or hinges/clips that you'll need to work to get the center console off. Then shapoo the carpets and try to wipe clean any dirty areas.
There really is else you can do.
