Need transmission for R18 engine

First off I'm trying to figure out if it's worth keeping this 2006 civic ex I have another r18 engine I can do the swap since it is lower miles but it is coming off an auto ...
Second off I think I'll probably keep the car turbo it and **** to have a lititle sports coupe that can be daily

Re: Need transmission for R18 engine

Something wrong with your current transmission, or just that the new R18 is coming off an AT and you have an MT?

If the latter, just swap out the drive plate for a flywheel and mate it to your current MT. That's what I did on my 2002 (D17). Swapped bottom end that came off an AT, removed the drive plate, bolted on my flywheel, put on my manual tranny, reinstalled engine. Been about 40-50k since I did that.
