Wipers start when car does and don't rest properly
Wipers start when car does and don't rest properly
After last winter and getting a bunch of snow the wipers
-won't rest in their proper positions
-start when the car starts
-won't go the minimum or maximum speeds
any suggestions would be great, thanks. Here's a video of what they look like when not working properly https://youtu.be/1fhdkil_QFQ

4 door sedan, yes?
Common issue for not parking in the right spot and running by themselves...... Fix is to replace the contact board (cover) on the back of the wiper motor.
(Not sure if "won't go the minimum or maximum speeds" means what I think it means but I think this repair will solve it)
This PDF link has the Honda part number of the new piece you need, along with an outline of the procedure to replace it.
