Advice on buying a 2011 Civic LX

So, I checked out a 2011 Civic LX at a local dealer -- a reputable dealer, but they specialize in another make, not Hondas -- and the salesguy showed me the CarFax. It's a clean title, with one owner, but no service history! Not even a listing for an oil change. Should I stay away? Was it possible the owner never serviced the car, or maybe they just brought it to a shop or shops who don't report service info to CarFax?

No records isn't necessarily a deal breaker IMO, you might have to do more checking to see if things have or have not been serviced.
If it's low mileage it may not have needed anything more than oil changes.

Mileage?
Independent pre-purchase inspection?

Air filter/cabin filiter?
Pull the oil cap and check for sludge?
Color and smell of trans fluid?
Tires...tread depths? BRAND?
Brakes, condition?
