2006 Civic Hybrid

Found a 2006 Civic Hybrid, with 133,085 miles, for $5900. I have read quite a bit of negative reviews concerning problems with this model's hybrid system, mostly the battery.

Do any of you have experience with this model and/or have any recommendations if it is a good deal or should I skip it? Thanks.

Re: 2006 Civic Hybrid

Ask the owner if the IMA battery has been replaced yet.

Look for a white triangle shaped sticker in the drivers door jamb that says 'battery type xxx', that would indicate it's been replaced with a Honda reman unit already.
