Ok so i'm in the market to buy a newer civic si. Is there any big difference between the 2.0 vs the 2.4 engine? An if any of you had a choice what would you choose?

Reason i ask is cause the local dealership has a 2011 "2.0 obviously" with 22000 miles, an the 2012 civic si "2.4". the 2012 is about $2000 more but has 5000 less miles on it

I'd say to take both for a test drive. Alone LOL. Pick the one you like.
Both should have 3/36 B-B and 5/60 powertrain warranty, assuming the titles are clean and.......

Get an inspection by an independent pro, see if you can figure out why they got traded off before you buy. Talk to the previous owners if possible, ask them.

I got the 2011 civic si. It had a full carfax on the site it was a leased vehicle for 3 years after the lease she got a new one. i got the honda care plan 7 year 100k mile warranty. here's a picture
