SI oil pump failures?!
I talked to a guy with a '07 SI that has 88,000 miles on it that he's now building a engine because an oil pump failed and Honda won't cover it. He said as soon as you can do a different oil pump swap from another K20 engine. My wifes car has like 85,000 or so on it. The only problem it has is it runs rich. She shifts out at 4g and the light never comes on. I shift soon and it comes on and I get in trouble. It's a good car and I don't want a oil pump failure. Anyone have info on this?
