is it common for them to not change the filter on the first oil change ?

Hondas schedule only has you change the filter ever two oil changes or so. You can ask them to do it everytime. I change my own oil and change it everytime just to be safe.

haha wow, almost no filter currently available lasts more than 7500k miles without clogging up. no way would it last for 2 oil changes. esp not the stupid honda (fram) filter.

hey not a bad idea! i guess its good they actually changed the oil, alot of dealer just drive the car around for a while, park it, and say youre all done lol. its always good to check that theres clean oil inside cause you just never know what douches will do to a car that isnt theirs and they work on cars all day and dont care.
