Bass Speaker System
Does anyone have this option installed on thier Civic?
I would like to add this system to my car and would like to know if it made a difference to the sound quality.
I do not want to add an aftermaket bass system (AMP/SUB) to my car because I want to keep it OEM. Alternatively I would mind installing another manufacture branded bass system if it could be installed the same way Honda's verison is installed. I do not want to splice/cut any of the factory cables.

Youl want a after market setup, the oem system is kinda lame, sounds like a 6x9. But if you do get the amp'd system you can have factory sub control, i used a line out converter with the sub output, so i can control my kickers volume level from the stuck hu. Good luck.

Actually, rather than buy the ampd system, if you replaced your speakers with polk db's, it would probably sound better than adding the 6" sub IMO.
