HydroLock...anyone???
i have a Injen CAI for my new 07 Si sedan. recently found out from Injen that they dont produce a bypass valve like AEM does for their CAIs...and from what i know, there is no bypass valve in the Injen CAI already. only way to offer some protection other than avoiding puddles and floods is withtheir hydro shield, which looks like a cheesy raincoat for trhe airfilter.
Anyone have any prblems with hydrolock???, or am I being overly paranoid that the next puddle i hit will be my last.

well sucking up water is bad. so yeah watch for every puddle. bypass isnt really useful unless the whole filter is underwater. otherwise the bypass wont prevent water from being sucked in the engine. i have no idea why you wanna risk a brand new engine for a few lousy hp.
