Hi, I own a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe and is currently thinking about changing new wheels. I have my eyes set on the Drag DR11 and the dimensions are:
5x114.3 17X7 with offset of 40. I believe the stock honda 17 rims comes with 45 offset so I m worried if the new tire will fit my car. Also, I am also wonderng what using the wrong offset will do to the car because I have no knowledge regarding changing wheels.

You Will Be Ok, My Wheels Are 17*8 With A 40, I Used A 225/45/17 Tire, I Do Get A Little Rub If I Go Over Bumps To Fast, But Its Also Lowered An Inch A Half
