Rep Power: 0 I've done that. . i placed them in the parking light housing. . . read the instruction manual to find out how to replace the bub . I just took out the bulb, and replaced the whole socket thing with the strobes . Un fortunately , wires touched , and my strobes burnt out . . and i havent gotten around to replacing them . But , it really isnt that hard . Just use ur common sense , and you should be fine. . Good lck!

Rep Power: 377 with whelen strobes, i believe you drill ahole in the headlight housing and stick it in there. with street glow they say to do the same thing but you really dont have to, it takes up alot of time and theres a better way. just take out the headlight bulb, slip in the strobe, put the headlight bulb back and make sure the wire isnt touching it! and thats it. heres mine

Rep Power: 282 Nice. . . I had mine put just below each headlight bulb. Got the 60W Competitor Series and they're hella bright. If anyone's looking for these, the 90 watters aren't totally necessary. I light up entire parking lots with mine.

Rep Power: 0 I got cheap strobes from Canadian Tire for $18 and put them inside the air vents. You can't see them, you only see the light flashing and it looks sick. And I know they're not real strobes for I would be blinded if they were.

Rep Power: 282 Either way, when drilling a hole in the housing, the surface is likely to blow a powder into the headlight. . . . my installer had this happen, so I disassembled them and cleaned EVERYTHING carefully. They look killer, now.
FYI, the Street Glow strobes are much less expensive, and probably easier to install. But if you really want to attract attention, the Whelens are really the way to go. The ONLY reason I went for them was to steal some thunder from other people at the car shows who are going to be using much less-powerful strobes.
