Taking off trim on the hood
I have a carbon fiber hood and I dont think it comes with the hood trim and the very front of the hood. I want to know how to take this off our oem stock hood without breaking or damaging it? i need it to put of the cf hood.

take the black nuts off, then get a flat head screwdriver and pop out the pin in the middle by pulling down. it should pop right out. theres a diy somewhere in this site, if it's not in the diy section, it may be in the tech forum. try searching, maybe it'll come up

I thought the CF hoods come with the hood trims... That would suck if you had to take it off your OEM hood... But yeah, if you look at it there are those few black nuts, unscrew them and see what happens...

some CF hoods come with a CF hood trim, but unfortunately, most do not. so you'd have to take the OEM one. its not hard taking off the hood trim, trying to make it fit onto the CF hood properly is what sucks
