OEM BODY KIT QUESTION
Alright, so i bought a front and rear piece from what i THINK was originally from "inca's" car on here. Here's the deal, I'm not sure if the kits are all the same for each year of the 7th gen civics. Like are the all compatable 01,02,03 and if I MIGHT have a diff kit for a diff year. The reason I am asking is that as I held the peice up to my car, the screw holds seemed significantly off. Do I need a mounting bracket or something? I really, just dont know anything about the oem 7th gen kits. Thanks guys...
it will fit any coupe
don't mean to insult your intelligence....you might have
a difficult time installing it if u have a sedan
u gonna need to drill holes in your front bumper
so you won't be able to go back to stock (unless u wanna
drive with holes in your front bumper)
check the handaaccessories for the DIY

No man, its cool, you're not insulting me. I honestly havent looked into the OEM kits until a month ago when i randomly decided to buy a front a rear bumper. I actually have a 2door, thats why it seemed wierd.
Yah, like Vinh said, you're going to have to drills holes.
Here are the installation instructions (if you haven't seen them already):
Installing Front Lip
Installing Rear Lip
You're need Adobe Acrobat to view it, if you don't have it already.

the only holes you'll need to drill are underneath the bumpers, so you will still be OK going back to stock. trust me though, you won't want to

ahemm......non-oem kit is fine too you know
lease: Some Honda dealers don't know much about the kits they carry. Most people here know the 2 kits as the "Aero" kit (can't use factory foglights) and the underbody spoiler kit (can use fog lights).
The Aero kit is known to many dealers as the 2003 kit, while the underbody kit is the 2002 kit. They all work on all 3 model years, but on the underbody or 2002 kit will work on sedans because the Aero/2003 kit has molding for the coupe door.
For what it is worth, I prefer the Front and Rear from the underbody kit with the side skirts from the Aero kit. There is a silver car on this site that is setup like that. Very classy and understated, but nice looking.

dragoon has the silver (SSM) car you're talking about with that setup (OEM front and rear with Aero sides). Zaskar1(?), I think that's his name... he has the same setup in silver (SSM) as well.
Has anyone installed the JDM Type 2 front spoiler, looks very similar to the Honda Underbody/2002, but with small side indentations and a little more agressive front lip?
I'm curious to the quality of the product
Azure, I'm coming to Oahu later this month, I'll have to check out your car if you're around. Maybe you can give me the insider's view on where to go for fun.

My bad, it is called the Civic Type-B, from absdynamics.com, about $150, plus painting and then install.

I'm coming with my wife, May 21-27, we're staying at the Hilton in Waikiki (sp?).
Trying to find a place to rent a jeep (soft top) for the week.

Ohhh. That's the RS front lip. Go there. It's $110, but of course add the shipping and add the painting. I like that front. Matches the Aero sides really well. nightkids1 and SkillZter(sp?) have that setup.
Hmm... 1 week, eh? That's cool. Hope you have fun. And yes, the spelling is correct.
