diy: lower grill?

can any1 give me tips on doing a diy lower grill? i already have the foliatec black grille....i just dont know how i would hold it on to my grill....to those who have done this, what was your method of doing this?

i drilled holes on the back and used zip-ties to hole them together...it seems to work pretty well

I agree emh2k1, but u can also try takin of your front bumper, I didn't initially, but I eventually did to make it fit tighter and better.

oh did take my front bumper off to put my grill on. It would be pretty hard to put a grill in without taking off your bumper.

I did a DIY lower grill that i just sort of came up with on my own. I cut off the existing grill with a coping saw and then just got some mesh from home depot. Painted it black and I molded it to the bumper. What I did was bend all the edges around it so it came into a lot of contact with the plastic. Then I used some "Goop" (name brand), which is some really strong glue and it was specific for plastic materials and such, and i glued it on. Never had a problem with it. I don't have any pictures though cause I had to get my bumper replaced due to an accident and haven't gotten a chance to do it again

man i remember trying to do that a year ago.
i ended up with my grill falling off in the middle of the highway and cuts on my hands from shaping it. lol.
