Yet another "H" Question
Has anyone replaced the "H" in their steering wheel with one of a different color? If so, how did you do it and where did you get a replacement "H"?

EPHatch did it on theirs. I've seen threads about it, just no directions on how they did it.
You can change the H without changing your steering wheel, they had it on ebay, You put a piece of red shiny pre cut vinyl onto the H, and it replaces the black with red. It looked sweet, but I didnt think it was worth 12 bucks
i have a red H on my steering wheel. Theres a guy on EPhatch.com who makes custom vinyl H that goes over the stock H. Its made for the SI steering wheel though, so its not a perfect fit but its pretty close.

Not to knock you guys, but unless you've got a red interior that you're accessorizing or a Type R, it sounds a bit ricey to me. But hey, it's your car and your money, do what makes you happy man! :-)

BFitz, I'm doing my interior to silver, black, and blue. I contacted the seller to ask him if he can make me a blue one.
I haven't decided if i'm going to do it yet.

Fly, That sounds like it'll look pretty good then. Type R badging is just a pet peeve of mine. From what I've read from you on here, you've got good ideas and don't do things without a reason so best of luck on your customization. I'd love to see some pics when you get it done. :-)

Hey guys (girls),
I'm the guy from ephatch that makes the red H for the steering wheels.
They fit all 2002-2003 Hondas except the S2000.
I'm pretty sure the 2001 civics have the same black/chrome H emblem on the wheel as the 2002+, so it should fit them as well.
Personally I have only installed this on a 2002/2003 Si, 2003 CRV/Accord/Element/Civic.
As far as the 2001 goes, I cant be 100% sure until i do it myself or talk to someone with that car that I've sold it to, but i'm 95% sure it'll work.
On ephatch they go for $6 for 1, $10 for 2, $12 for 3, and a donation from each sale goes directly to ephatch.com.
I would be willing to do the same deal for 7th gen civic.com members.
Or you could always pick one up on eBay ($9.95), but they usually get bid up to $15-20 each.
All prices include shipping.
I accept payments via PayPal to: infiniteparts77@aol.com
OR
Money Orders (email me for my address).
Thanks,
---Adam---
InfiniteParts77@aol.com
PS: If there is enough interest in other colors (blue?) I can make those as well, but I need at least a dozen sales to make that a reality otherwise it's not worth the time to cut them out for just 1 or 2.
