Rep Power: 351 ? what are you trying to do..Take it off? because the aftermarket ones stay on with screws at the base of the shiftknob........And i think the factory one is sorta glued on, atleast it was on my 95 vic......it took me lots of turning and turning till i got it off...

I cant stand the stock hand brake either, it sucks *** & I really want one with a real boot so yea somebody has to know of a solution.

Rep Power: 0 The ebrake handle is one huge piece. The top rubber hand and the bottom plastic. Yes it is a pain. But there isnt to much you can do to get it off. I fought with mine last summer and gave up. I would just spend your money else where.

Rep Power: 0 if you look on your console where the ebrake is you'll see the outlining of it (the gap). If you take off the center console, you're gonna be left with just that ebrake handle with that plastic piece attatched to it. You could always put the boot on and attach it to the bottom of the ebrake plastic piece so it will go up and down...
If this is totally unclear, just go to the DIY section and you'll see what I'm talking about...
