Red Tail Lights?

Red Tail Lights? Anyone paint their tail lights COMPLETELY red? I saw some 6th gen civics with the completely red tail lights and it looks pretti sick. I was wondering if anyone had done this on their civic and had any instructions? Like what kinda paint and other stuff? Basically anyone have a DIY for painting taillights?

yeah it is illegal. If you are going to do that then you need to provide a another white light that will act as your reverse light. I really don't think it is worth it for that little tiny piece of white.
hey, i did that 2 my civ.coupe...who cares if it is illegal..looks good =)
i used that acrylic model paint(color clear red) then u clear coat it!!
the color matched exactly like the rest of the taillight!!!

Rep Power: 0 Go to walmart and in the kids toys section there's cans of spray paint for toy cars. Find the one that is "Candy Apple Red". I used it on my car and it looks rad over altezza's! I've gotten in more trouble for having superwhite turn signals than all red tail lights. If you want look at my car, it doesnt look at all what it looks like in real life but you can get an idea. I highly recommend it and it only costs $2.67! You can't beat that! Peace.

i used vinyl on my tails...came out pretty cool
i like it, something different from everyone else's
I do sometimes have problems backing out though...nobody pays attention to me because it looks just like another brake light
