How do you take the headliner off of your car

this has been posted three times, although no one seems to know because no one answers to it.....i have even asded it before

I have replaced my headliner. I removed the a-pillars, b-pillars, and the pieces by the rear deck...remove the visors, interior lights, and that handle on the passenger's side...rear-view mirror plate...and then start popping the clips out, there are only a few holding it on. It's kinda obvious once you start removing the parts above.

Find someone with a Service manual, it gives you step by step instructions, I'd help you but my scanner is fried.

sorry to bring back such an old thread, but after you remove the headliner is it easy to get it out of the car???? do you go out the front doors with it (coupe), or out the trunk????

just fold your front seats back, and you should be able to go out either door, i would think.
