2001 Honda Civic Service Manual?
Does anyone know where I can find a 2001 Civic Service Manual in PDF format? I need to know the torque specs! I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

I have the same manual as solar along with the supplement. The manuals dont really get into concepts of how things work, but based more on just fixing stuff. Good stuff regardless. Here's their link: www.helminc.com

as far as I know, the manual does not come in PDF format. what torque specs are you looking for. As for the manual not telling how things work, that is because they are written for a mechanic who is looking for specific information on the Civic.

Front strut bolts 76 foot pounds
Top nut on strut 33
Tie rod 32
Rear strut top bolt 22 pounds
Mounting bolts on rear spring/shock assembly 45 pounds
You will also need a spring compressor and a tie rod removal tool

one cool thing when I owned my WRX was that a guy scanned in (professionally -- all the pages were perfectly straight) the repair manuals to PDFs and burned them on a CD... he was selling them as "backups" for people that already owned the books.
Maybe its something that someone here might want to do in their spare time
