well... i haven't done this to my car.... but from what i've read and heard.... you will need to install poppers that are strong enough to pop open your door..... and them poppers can be hooked up to your alarm remote or sumthing.....

But the bad thing is, you need a emergency latch opener installed somewhere on your car..... to pass inspection..... so anyone who knows where it is can open your car.... or you can not install one at all and either have it not pass inspection or cannot open if your popper breaks down

cool idea...i haven't done that but i use AutoLoc on my van for the trunk release. The servo/popper can support up to 15 kgs. no emergency opener installed though.

totaly off topic, but just let u know.
some drag strips wont allow u to run if u have shaved door handles, because in case u lost contorl and flip your car, they cant get u out since you dont have door handles and your poppers are broken

On top of what CivicVTec was saying, Most states won't let you have shaved handles because if you get in an accident, the rescuers needs to be able to pull you out of the car.

The body line goes right thru where the handle is...my plan is to buy two gas doors and use them as fillers. this way its steel and has the body line. this is what people do on older nissan harbody's. I think im gonna start shaving in the back though...no more tail lights or liscense plate frame....put it into whatever bumper i decide to get. LEDs are teh win for brake lights
