How do I remove...
I was Dynamatting my trunk yesterday, and I ran into a problem. That black piece in the middle on the bottom where the latch is. Is there a DIY for removing it, or could someone just tell me how to? I even had my dad look at it (ASE certified), but I can't figure out how to get it off.

Rep Power: 0 just pull it out. i think the diy on trunk rattle shows how to remove it. ive done it before and it takes some muscle to pull it out. it's just held on by pins. i hope this helps

Rep Power: 364 Well I was hesitant about pulling it off because the three places I got it off were held on by little chincy plastic pieces and I didn't want to break anything. Thanks.
