[hr]this is cost saving for the manufacture in many ways to gain new vehicle turnover plus a monopoly to be differed to the opposition vehicle manufactures. [hr]
as long as this thing works, why do they care if you cant put a turbo on it? its actually better for them since its a deterrent for a lot of people to go and mess w/ the engine, meaning they will be able to resell more used cars.

he might be right about no benefits for the users, but this system is very advantageous for the car makers.

Lots of companies use returnless fuel systems. Toyota, Ford etc. There are a lot benefits none being a monopoly or reselling used car. I know the primary reason is gas consumption..Honda doesn't give a crap what you do to your car after you buy it..

well i maybe wrong but dont we have a returnless fuel because without it honda wouldnt be able to classify our cars as a ULEV. Also doesnt the returnless fuel system allow us to get the gas milage that we do?

Ding Ding Ding, you got it, the returnless fuel system is a technology thing not a "let see how hard we can make it for people to mess with this car" thing. Returnless fuel system cuts way down on vapor loss for better economy.

would there be a gain for us tho if we turned it back to a return system? i mean, would there be any hp gaines if was a return system? or should we not even bother unless we are running turbo?

You won't get any horsepower gains from making it a return fuel system. it will just allow for larger fuel delivering if you start running lean. The return line can't really do anything that the returnless can't do if you have a standalone fuel managment system. It lets you have more give in the system with out having to alter the system from stock but if you are going to alter it anyway.... you don't even need to go to return style for a turbo. bigger injectors, upgraded fuel lines/fuel rail and FM. all of that is stuff you would do for a turbo setup anyways unless you are running really low boost.
