Blue Lighting for window switch?

Does anyone know if/how it's possible to change the lighting of the window switch? I've done my dash in blue (using gels) and want to change the switch. From looking at it without taking the whole door panel I think there's just an orange lens behind it, but I'm not sure. thanks

Hey what's up bro??? I am going to change the light on the power window switch too. It's not a gel cap that is over the bulb. It's a L.E.D bulb that's in the switch. You're going to have to snipp off the light and add another L.E.D. I don't know if a resistor is needed or not, (I don't really know a lot about this electrical stuff) but yeah.

damn, i don't either. either going to have to live with it or learn.
once you take the door panel off is the led hard to get to? that also makes me wonder if the entire dash could be done with hyperblue leds instead of gels. hmmm...

Naw man, you don't have to take the door panel for this one. It's just the part where you put your hand at is what comes off. If you see inside space where your hand goes to close the door, there's a little tab. Pop that up and unscrew it. I'm pretty sure that's it and then unplug the wire harness. Then you could figure it out how to get to the L.E.D. It's been a while since I did it.

***Careful when you disassemble the switch, there's a spring that comes with it, don't lose it!!!
