DIY: Removing Rear Honda H emblem

i was thinking of removing the honda emblem in the rear of my car. does anyone have a diy on what to fill the holes with and how to paint them.

ya you would have to bondo it but what if you got a glow in the dark emblem??? i think those are pretty neat, but some say ricey, oh well something to think about

touch up paint?? i got some from honda and i dont think it matches my taffetta white very well..maybe it will fade or something but i would not use it for something obvious like shaving trunk holes.

what if i was to take it to a body shop and they just blended it to the body color? like what they would ddo if you had a chip or scratch. do you think that would look good?
and yes, glow emblems are defeniatly ricey.[IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

I'd say leave the "H" on unless you are replacing it with a colored emblem. Painting a trunk and filling the holes are just too much trouble for a little "H" IMO.

Yeah I would definately say just take it to a shop but yeah my civic isn't worth the $$$ to shave off the H hehe.

i went to a body shop about getting my emblem and my side molding removed from my sedan and they said that bondo wasnt a good way to go and that they would weld the holes then sand it flat and then either repaint the whole panel or blend. All of it was going to cost alot so I am just going to get a custom paint job at the same time.
