that looks pretty cool, but wouldn't it suck when you have to do stuff under the hood

i am pretty sure it's because it opens opposite of the way that it was designed to, but not too sure.... suicide doors open opposite the way they should, but they are called suicide doors cause if you open them while driving they could be ripped off by the wind, at least that's what i was told, so with that said, wouldn't the way our hood opens now be a suicide hood? this intrigues me... never figured it out...

Jaykuai can only hope to improve
they are called suicide doors because in a normal door if you want to jump of the car the door will block your way by help of the wind.

with a suicide door, the door opens freely and you can have a nice jump, anyway the door would hit you once you jump

Hey like I've told before...this mod will be made on my car as soon as the roads will be ok ( without snow ) in here....so maybe in late march or early april!
I have some other pics of the hood...somewhere...If I find those I'll post them here...! ! !

This is the kind of mod I like to perform...I already have made some plan for doing the suicide hood like Joe Vital's civic and I really think it will be done this way!

That's because it is being held by the stock brackets. Look at the first pic and you will see the black arm folded forward as it attaches to the stock position.

As soon as someone does this please post a DIY. I would realy like to do it and have a pretty good idea on how, but I would like a little help. I'm tryin to do the easiest and cheapest things possible until my wife gets off my back about spending too much time and money w/my baby.
