Im sure you dont. They should be fine. I bought some black angel eye projectors and they havent fogged up yet. If you want to be safe you can seal it before you put it on. I wouldnt worry about it though.
Yup, I bought the "Harley Product" Gen 3 Projectors via Ebay, and they not only need to be resealed but the h1 bulbs are constantly burning out, I can't figure that part out, maybe a grounding problem with the new light housing wiring? Any help by someone who knows anything about electrical problems, help me and this other poor soul and I who have these same lights.
Oh yeah, and one more headache with these lights is the factory bulb housing juuust doesn't quite fit into the back of the headlights, hope you're a MCGuver like me and fix the problem with superglue and a lot of patience. But they look good as hell when they're in!

i had the TYC projectors and had to open them up to wire in my angel eyes.. and let me tell you. the silicon glue they use is VERY VERY VERY VERY STRONG!!!.. much stronger then the stuff they use on the stock headlights. so im sure the TYC will not leak in their stock condition. hopefully i resealed them enough so they wont leak
Hey, when I got mine one kept fogging up every day then defogging when I would use a hair dryer on it. Quick fix that I did was took out the inner fender of the side that was giving me a fit, drilled a very small hole in the bottom of the head light. This lets the light drain any moisture that build's up inside it. After I did that i have not had a problem out of it. I hate the fact of them being a H1 foglight bulb. But they look dang good.
By the way, does anyone know how to adjust the beam on them? My high beam on one side aims towards the trees and the other one aims on the ground. Thanks

i know this hasnt been active for a bunch of months, but my projector gets moisture in it sometimes, then it goes away (it just started).... will that cause a problem? it has a drain thingy already in it for the water... and it was sealed as well.... any suggestions?
you guys are only resealing the lenses!!! did you forget that air/moisture can also get through (and most probably comes through) the bulb sockets??? You can seal around the plastic lens until the cow comes home, but if you don't close up the bulb sockets as well, then there's no difference.
You don't want to seal around the bulbs permanently because you may need to replace bulbs sometime down the road. Instead, wrap the wire harness and cover the socket area where it goes into the projector. Tape it up with electric tape or something, then it will be sealed at the most. this is the reason why the oem headlights have that rubber piece that surronds the h4 bulb and the socket the bulb goes into.
and btw girl, yes you'd want the moisture already inside the projectors to come out before sealing. otherwise it will just keep evaporating and condensing over and over again.

The bulbs sockets were sealed with silicone. The only thing not sealed is the drain port. It appeared to have a moisture preventative filter. This is the only place that moisture can get in. I guess this needs to be sealed.
