I installed my ground controls last week and I slammed my car down.
My rear fender is almsot even with the rear rims. Looks really nice.
I have Si Rims which are 15s at the moment. Im gonna get 17s soon.
My question is since we don't need a front camber kit because of our suspension wha about the rear camber kit, will it not be a problem due to my lowness, I don't think it'll matter but I wanna see if anyone else got that problem.
Also, what kinda of angle am I lookin at since my car is low, I kno Honda says 0 in FRONT and about 1.0 in REAR, but due to my situation wah did you guys use?
THANKS.

Yes you definately will need one in the back. I have GC's and I have a camber kit in the back. I got it aligned by my boys at Town Fair Tire. It's still off a little on one tire though. I'll have to go back.
i thought this wasnt a noob question...
if you have no gap with the 15s.. i'd say you'd need one.. i dont have one with my 1.75" drop. doesnt necessarily mean you dont need one tho. the rear is actually -.5 i believe but anywhere from -1.5 to +.5 is within spec.

I never asked if we needed a cabmer in the rear, I wanted to kno if anyone had exact spec degrees on the rear, since we dont need one on the front cuz of the suspension diagram. And no Mr. Moderator, there shouldnt be any +'s involved since it is lowered. If I were to put it +.5 then it would be exactly 0 or close to it, which is not good for the rear, maybe possibly for the front.
My friend has his 3 degrees off with a 4inch drop, but thas am eclipse.
Anyone got a diagram or anything for the rear degrees?

who cares what the exact numbers are, just get an alignment at a shop that knows how to use a camber kit and everything. You will NEVER get it right by doing it yourself, becuase you dont have an alignment rackQuote

you wanted to know what spec was right? and i'm saying spec is -.5 +- 1 degree meaning anywhere from -1.5 degree to +.5 degree is within spec. when you lower the car, the camber is going to become more negative but the specs wont ever change...
if your asking what i/we recommend you set the camber to, its -.5, how it comes stock on our cars. but if rubbing maybe a problem with -.5 degrees, setting it to -1.5 is even fine. if you still rub, i suggest rolling the fenders a little.

LJ, read my post again, and then I'd suggest you edit your response cuz you're a moron. And find where I said Im gonna go under my car and adjust my own camber and toe with my bare hands and a socket
The place where I need an alignment will be better suited with a rough estimate, which I was hoping someone can give me.
VNlilMAN, thanks for the input but when you said "how it comes stock on our cars" is where i dont think you're right, but Im not saying you're wrong. I've been told by a lot of people that stock specs is not really what you use according to the low drop. Even tho it would make sense because thas wha I used as anarguement, they said no.

just got to a place that has an up to date rack. i went to national tire and battery. they aligned my car and adjusted the camber for 60 bucks. they will do lowered cars no problem and if you just tell them you have a camber kit and they need to adjust it, they will. by the way, mine is dropped on goldline springs, 1.75 drop in the rear and i desperatly needed the camber adjusted. my tires were leaning bad!
Did they give you a sheet telling you wha was done and to what degrees?
I have a NTB too but I havn't asked then about it, you really really think they can fit me?
The reason why i need pretty exact number is due to the fact not a lot of options out there for me on gettin my tow adjusted, wheels aligned and cambers corrected.

why not? who told you this anyways? whats the whole point of a camber kit, to correct the camber so that your tires DONT wear out unevenly... ride height has nothing to do with how the tires wear... whether the car is lifted 6" or dropped 6", if the camber is the same, the tires are going to wear out the same. only problem i see with aligning a lowered car to [stock] specs is rubbing.

alright, sorry i stand corrected.. spec for the front seems to be 0 +- .8. the rear -.75 +- .75

yes they give you a sheet with EXACT numbers on it. what your camber and toe were at before and after they adjusted it. and they are super cool (atleast the one i went too) about lowered cars and everything. we seem to have a problem around here about places working on lowered cars, but my shop that did the install suggested ntb and i highly reccomend them as well.Quote

I never had a chance to put my car on the alignment rack at my college cause my bumper is so damn low(R33). I would need to take off the bumper just to make it up the rack. Those things are sweet. I want one in my garage ($$$$$$$$$$)
Yea Im gonna go to NTB then.
They are nice here too. They took a nail off for me for 5 bucks.
cant beat that.
Thanks for your help man!
