I was doing some stuff to my door tonight and saw that little screw inside the door. It's on the part where you close the door. It's covered by this little cover. I unscrewed it and it looked like nothing happened. Does anyone know what this screw is for? I did a search and found nothing.

No, let's say you're closing your door......where your fingers are, look in there and you'll see this little cover thing. If you lift it up you'll see a screw. What's it for?

need to take it off to get that pannel off of the rest of the door to get to two screws under it when u wanna get the panel off

yeah, after you take out that screw, you can snap out the plastic piece it was holding in. under that there are 2 more screws that hold the door together.
