Can someone please tell me whether I can or cannot swap my engine for the H22 prelude engine.(96-2000). If so..........see you in my dust[IMG]i/expressions/demon.gif[/IMG]

No you can't without a gang of custom work. No engine mounts, not enough space (??), and other issues.
I think the only H22 swapped 7th Gen Civic is the yellow AEM Drag Racing one...

Rep Power: 0 Like they said you will need custom mounts but mostly your problem is going to be that there just isn't enough space in the engine bay. If you have the money or skills to extend that you can get it in. for legal issues you will have to get the 01' prelude engine if you can get ahold of one. depending on where you live, it may of may not pass emissions.

knowing emisson laws and what not, the engine HAS to be newer than the car.
Thus bringing us to the conclusion that no, not a 2000 or below engine can be legally placed in the bay.
but i'd still like to see it happen!
