strut tower brace bar thingy

hey everybody, i just installed my strut tower brace, and had to relocate my cluth fluid resevior. ok, my question is, did anybody else have to do that, i did not realize it was that much work [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/IMG] . or did i just create more work for myself

if u have a 2k2 or above then yes u did the instructions state to just "bend" the bracket but if you have a 2k1 then yes it does say to relocate it.

Yes, others have done it. Certain strut bars require you to relocate it. They're poorly designed, but that's life.

yea, i had to cut like 1/4 inch off the bottom of the bracket(the part that stuck out) so it could fit under the two not moveable freakin hoses. but i am not complaining, i think it handles alot better

neuspeed bar came with a lock nut so I can relocate to the resevior to the fenderwell area..

wasn't that big of a deal if I jack up the car and reach in the fender... but I didn't.. so I had to somehow bend my arm around couple different angles and place a lock nut on one side.. while holding the bolt on the other side in the engine, trying to fit them together with no visual aide... lol.

u know, the easier thing to do is just to tilt the resevior and tighten the bracket. woulda work too. but I wanted to do a complete job.
