Rep Power: 302 new custom mod, what do you guys think???
I went to the Honda dealership today and got everything priced out for the S2000 antenna assembly. It will be functional(I know we have ours in the rear window). Anyway, I'd be putting it on the back center part of my roof, sort of like a VW. $120 for everything I need (gasket, mounting stuff, rubber antenna). You think this will be a decent mod? I just really want the car to be different and I dont think that would be all that bad.

Rep Power: 389 That's a good idea. That could fix my problem with the tint on my rear window interfering with my radio.

Rep Power: 395 I guess... Although it's kinda redundant. You already have an antenna. I like our non-visible antennas.

Rep Power: 0 Its called a "Fuba Antenna" I've done it to all my cars and you can get the whole kit ( antenna, cable, gasket and nut) for about $75 from a local performance shop, not a POS sticky knockoff but a real one straight from VW, Exact same as the S2000. Just a thought...BTW it's the farthest thing from a "new mod" this is OLD, at least for the last 7 years that I can remember

Rep Power: 0 Did it. But its not the S2000 one. It's the VW style one with adjustable angle. I dont have pics but i could get some. Picture a Jetta(cause mine's a sedan) and thats pretty much what it looks like. IMO it looks really good and im glad i did it. I paid $75 for the antenna and its wiring, etc at an audiosound place up at school in MA and they charged me $65 for the installation. By the way, it does boost your reception. Not by a whole lot, but it is noticeable. I pull in some stations that didnt really come in before. If i can get around to takin pics, ill do it by the weekend.

Rep Power: 294 Food for thought:
The Hybrid has an external antenna, but it's ugly looking IMO. I prefer the 'phantom antenna' look myself.

Rep Power: 395 Oh yeah, I forgot about that ride. Nice! That actually looks pretty good. Plus if you're getting XM it's something that you should do for good reception.

Rep Power: 395 I thought the XM antenna was similiar? Couldn't you hook it up to work as an XM antenna?
