e-brake "boot" and handle removal
e-brake "boot" and handle removal
i know that on our cars, this is all one rubber piece. has anyone ever tried to remove the whole thing (not just cut a piece of the handle off to fit a handle)? i would prefer to not destroy the whole e-brake covering. i would try this myself, but i don't have my car at school with me right now.
the reason i ask is because i'm working on a DIY "type r" (black leather with red stitching) shift boot and e-brake boot, while my car is put away for the harsh winters up here. if i can't get the whole thing off, i'm going to have to go with a cover-boot. and no i'm not a ricer-type r wanna be, i just think it would look sweet in my car (to match the black leather seats w/ red stitching that i'm looking into getting).
