Headers
I have a 2002 honda civic EX and i was wondering how hard it would be to put in DC cermaic headers on my car. Do i need to do any more than take the old ones off and put the performance ones on. I have no pictures of my ride yet but soon to be ones.

Very Easy install.
Let your engine cool down.
put the front up on jack stands.
Remove Header heatshield
The rest is pretty striaght forward.
don't throw away the gasket...you need to re -use it.

Um, we dont have headers, we have a header
Just so you dont go in to an import store and make then think you have no F**king clue what your talking about
Oh and your not going to notice any gains if you just get a header with no exhaust, you might even end up burning everything out of your cat. Unless you dont care or plan on getting a full exhaust soon your realy not going to get anything out of this

I don tthink a DC header is worth its price...
as for installation,
follow those steps mentioned earlier...
to remove the header you gotta take out all the nuts on the top, use a torque wrench so u know how much to torque the nuts back in...
and go under the front of the car to remove the two bolts on the bottom holding the header to the downpipe... there are springs on the bolts, btw. it wont shoot back at you or anything, so dont worry.
make sure the car is cooled down so you dont burn yourself while you're down there.
and make sure the car is well supported. I only used one jackstand....
I felt a difference with my ebay header. I was surprised. felt like I had more low end, and it wasn't in my head too, cuz the rpms clearly climbed faster to 3,000 rpm.
I think top end may have gone out a bit though, top speed was down by a few mph...
anyhow, it wont do much in the aspect of performance, if you ask me.
