Look in GR and Easter canada forums..it's very possible and pretty easy...
I can get a B18C1 installed into my car for $3500US from a local shop...it's about as hard as mounting a H22 into a 5th gen....it involves some cutting..re-welsing the mounts on and alot of rewiring but it's pretty straightforward...you'll lose a/c though

But it can be done now without a kit but it involves some cutting and welding the mounts onto the chassis...after the swaps done it'll never fit a D series again...with HA Sports kit..you might be able to go back to stock..no clue yet

Does anyone know how that K20A swap is coming along?
Hehe, I was thinking... Would it be possible to slice apart the entire front of the car, put in a V8 and then build a body and hood around that? I'm sure it'd kill the drive, but it would fly and look hilarious...

First off I'm not going to tell you to do a search, people come here for help and NO ONE GIVES IT TO THEM and the search function on this is less then impressive as is the knowledge of most of the people on this site. First thing, k20, b16, b18 will all fit in our civics, b16 and b18 if you are emissions exempt are what I would do, i'll tell you why in a sec. If you get caught you will be fined but I don't know how they would find you unless you were dumb enough to take it to a shop and emissions wouldn't know. And everyone says k20 on this site, it's the only one that is legal. but it's also 8 grand and you better have mad skills or some $$$ to get that into the car. I was looking into the b16 myself, here is why and i'm sure im going to hear about it from everyone on this site, but oh well. b16 is 2 grand and has a million aftermarket parts for it. you can get those things up to more horsepower then you will ever need on the street. b18 is good too but you can double the price and its running a few extra hp and a slightly higher compression ratio. and again, more power then you will ever need on the street you can get out of that engine, but not worth the price. In my opinion b16 is the all around best deal if you can get away with having it in your car. there are some other complications that you have to worry about with thost engines that you should look into besides the size. My words of advice for you is to watch the advice people give you online and look into yourself by asking professionals, I'm by no means saying no one on this site knows what they are talking about, there are some that know what they are talking about, it's not them you have to worry about though, just be cautious. For you and everyone else on this site, keep in mind that THIS IS A HOBBY, do what you want to your car and have fun. don't take it so seriously.
