Rep Power: 0 DX to EX rear sway conversion
I put on my 19mm RSX sway and I'm going to give my friend who has a DX my OEM EX sway. What conversion steps are necessary for the sway to bolt up? Would he have to drill into his endlinks?

Rep Power: 0 did the dx come with a sway bar???? if not he needs to make some mounts to weld to the lower control arm. There is a post on that somewhere, it's an lx conversion i believe.

Rep Power: 344 search for something along the lines of LX Rear Sway DIY...
you need to fabricate a mounting point to the lower control arm so you can attach the endlinks on them.. then attach the rear sway bar on the endlink...
personally if he's going to go through the trouble, he should get a RSX 19mm rear sway himself too.

Rep Power: 0 Yup someone on this site did a conversion. It required a specifically manufactured metal piece to weld onto the control arm. That's a chore. Fortunately Progress Auto is working on a piece that bolts on directly so you can attach a Sway Bar to the DX. You'll still have to drill holes but that's easy stuff. The kit is like $80 and should be released any day now considering everytime I've called Progress for the past month they say "next week"... Anyhow. Wait for the kit, it will me buch easier. I have a DX so I feel his pain. I need a freaking sway bar back there : )
