LX engine swap
Does anyone know what engines are available to swap into an 01 Civic LX? And what kind of other work would be involved. It is a 5-speed, so I wouldn't be switching transmissions, at least I don't think so. Any help.

Aswap with out body modify >>> D17A1 , D17A2
If you want to put B-series you have to modify the body My friend already did it in thailand
If you8 want to swap K20a in to LX you also need to modify the body
If you want to put B-series you have to modify the body My friend already did it in thailand

which involves getting a civic SI, RSX, or possibly CR-V subframe, and some custom mounts. there are rumors about b-series engined 7th gen civics being sold in other parts of the world, thailand for one, the UAE another possibility.
