Silicone to reseal cleared headlights? don't need it.
I modified my headlights and figured rather than using silicone, I'd just heat up the black housing part in the oven to loosen the glue for a more secure sealing. so after 10 mins in the oven, I was able to squeeze the assembly together again and haven't had any fogging problems in the past week, with 3 days of rain
Put the silicone just in case anyway.....I cleared mine about 6 months ago and it just started fogging up and getting water in it. And I'm in Florida, it rains alot! So I had to re-seal with silicone.

I hate messing with silicon pisses me off gets all over the place and it smells like crap
