installing NOS questions
hey i've always want to get NOS but i want to know whats some of the things i need to do, prepare if i want to get NOS. and what should i get, like what do i need if i want want nos. and i dont want nothing fancy, and i dont use it alot but sometimes against some rich peps, i might need it. so i just want something simple, and heh i want my the buttons on my steering wheel, looks cool

I'm about to add a ZEX system to mine. It's a simple system that increases fuel delivery using the stock controller based on N2O delivery. I've got a NOS setup on my Mach 1 that required separate fuel plumbing and pressure regulation. It's a bigger headache than the ZEX system, but still worth it.
Nitrous is the best bang for the buck that there is. Some folks consider it cheating. I say BS. Speed is speed. Yeah it's nice to do it all on the motor. But a little spray will put a big grin on your face.
You'll need to open up the exhaust from the cat back and get an intake that you can tap for the spray. A new heavy duty clutch is also in order before you grenade the stock one.

hey bro, stay clear of that stuff its really not worth the money, especially if you install it wrong. Besides as far as it goes many people consider it to be cheating in races.
As I understand it, the ZEX system uses the existing vacuum ported fuel pressure regulator to regulate fuel flow at the injector to compensate for the nitrous, which allows for a dry install. Is this not the case???

why can't you run a chip with nitrous? I know it will advanced ignition timing, but wouldn't the chip help keep the other mods in check? can someone tell me why the chip wont work in conjunction with the nitrous.

It's not like the chip isn't going to work, but the chip is programmed for the way your car runs without the nitrious. . So when you hit the nitrious the computer is still running the car like it doesn't have nitrious so you're not going to gain the max potential from it.
If that makes sense.
