can you just get the black piece by itself or do you have to buy some of the screws/tabs?

So on the coupes you HAVE to buy that black piece in order for the altezza grill to fit?

The black plastic piece that covers the radiator, that is attached to the stock grille, is called the radiator cover.
Coupe and sedan radiator covers are different because the upper grilles are different.
The sedan radiator cover will fit the aftermarket "Altezza style grille" but is not required.
If you are looking down into the engine bay, there will be a gap between the radiator and the grille without the radiator cover that the cover would "eliminate."
If you are looking straight ahead into the fron of the car, there will be a gap between the hood (closed) and the grille, regardless of the radiator cover having been installed.
The radiator cover should run you about $15 from any Honda dealer, though they may have to order it. They usually don't stock these specialty items.
Screws can be recycled from your stock grille to attach the radiator cover to the aftermarket grille, but they run about $2 apiece new.
If you somehow broke the quick-clips, they run about $3 apiece at the dealer.
Good luck!
