Front Door Speakers

Have anyone here change there front door speakers. what did u do to make the speakers fit? im trying to put some 6 1/2 mb quart dkd 116. but the hole is to small to fit. and i notice that all speaker will need modification to able to fit. what would i need to do?

i read the DIY and all it show is how to remove the door panel

get a shop to do it, thats what i did, they didnt have any problems

i took my speakers out completly and installed kick panels sounds way better too

You'll need to get spacers from an audio shop. I had the same problem with my polks.

U can use a spacer or just dremel out a little of the hole to make it round. The shape of the whole is a pain. I actually just screwed mine into the door and they work fine. They aren't flush up against the metal but no problems.
